Die-cut cardboard boxes are boxes with a complex structure. It allows them to be folded without additional connecting elements. They are individually designed and adapted to the packed products.
The function of shaped packaging, in addition to the security function, is also the display and promotion of a given product by means of an overprint on the packaging or a cut window through which the product is visible. Shaped packages do not require sealing, and their shape can be freely designed according to the customer’s wishes. The elements of the mailer boxes engage with each other, which makes their closure strong and very difficult to accidentally disconnect.
Such packages can also be equipped with additional holes, perforation or handles for easy carrying. The production uses a 3- and 5-layer cardboard (combinations of waves B, C, E, BC, BE) with a weight of 350-750 g / m2, gray or bleached, with the option of additional equipment (dividers, inserts, grids, wrappers, trays, corners, hard angles, polystyrene protections).
Exemplary realizations of shaped packaging:
- display with an overprint,
- laminated packaging with offset printing,
- a solid texture box with an offset print,
- tray with flexo print,
- folder.
Die-cut cardboard boxes are a great solution for producers. Thanks to them, it is possible to properly protect and display the product. On the other hand, the strict adjustment of the packaging to the product has a significant impact on logistics – storage and transport costs.
