We made the decision to move to Berlin. Different country, different friends. Previously, we lived in a block of flats in a two-room apartment. We didn’t seem to have much stuff. Unfortunately, the reality turned out to be completely different. We have so many lumber, books, junk that there is no chance to pack quickly and sensibly. We also wanted to reduce the costs of moving. A rented bus will not accommodate so many things at once.
We decided to get cartons ourselves from friends and a friendly shop. In the end, there were too few cardboard boxes and they were too weak. That’s why we looked online for a manufacturer of cardboard boxes and moving packaging. Such moving box kit deals are very beneficial. Additionally, you can buy adhesive tapes or stretch foil. Very useful in packing.
And it began… Three days of packing. Describing cartons, arguing about what to pack with what. In total, we made three bus trips to Berlin. The move took another three days. But it worked. Nothing was damaged, nothing was lost. Cartons for moving passed the exam with flying colours. Now these cartons are still serving us. An apartment with an attic is a nice thing. We have a place to store the unused junk that was left in these boxes. And they will probably stay there for a long time.
